We are the only known flight case manufacturer to offer a trade in scheme for existing customers, who want to upgrade or replace what they already have.

We offer product specific refurbishments & repairs

Scott Dixon Trade in Scheme.

Our trade in scheme is built on 3 basic principles and is structured to show our continued love of music and offer our ongoing support to all current and emerging artists, FOH sound engineers and pro audio specialists, tour managers & roadies (the unsung heroes) it’s basically anyone and everyone who plays a part in everything you do and don’t see, but that comes together magically at arenas, gigs and festivals. We are saying we see you all of you and this is our thank you too you.

We want to help you showcase the visions that everyone involved in the industry wants to share with the world, it’s a belief in your hard work, no matter who you are or what role you play you are all essential and play no smaller part than any other in the complete picture, we hope you all remember that!  and for us it is simply a shared bond over our passion for music.

The result, to show once again that we are different from other case manufacturers we launched the worlds, only closed-loop flight case program allowing you to trade in your old Scott Dixon case for instant credit toward a brand-new one.

  1. Zero Waste (The Eco Principle)
  •  The Problem: Traditional plywood cases rot, while injection-moulded plastic cases represent a permanent environmental nightmare. When a plastic case cracks or degrades, it cannot be remade into another case—it is downcycled into low-grade waste or sent straight to a landfill.
  • The principle: Scott Dixon cases bypass the fossil-fuel plastic cycle entirely. Built from high-grade aluminium, our worn gear is stripped down, melted, and completely recast into pristine new flight cases infinitely, creating a true closed-loop system without any loss of strength.
  1. Lifetime Value (The Financial Principle)
  •  The Problem: Buying music gear is expensive, and old cases lose their utility when you change instruments.
  • The principle: Your initial investment never drops to zero. Your old case acts as direct currency toward your next upgrade.
  1. Evolving Protection (The Practical Principle)
  •  The Problem: Musicians constantly change their touring setups, guitars, and pedalboards.
  • The principle: The program ensures your protection matches your current rig. Swap a single guitar vault for a triple case or an amp rack seamlessly.

“The Reality of Touring”

Every experienced touring musician knows that any case will take a beating on the road. The true problem with plastic and wood is that once they deform or crack, they are useless. Your competitive advantage is that a deformed Scott Dixon case still holds its raw material value and can be completely reborn

“The Only Lifetime Flight Case Investment”

Your instruments change, so your protection should too. Don’t let old gear sit in storage. Swap your current setup for an upgraded, custom-measured vault with our exclusive trade-in program.”

“Built to last. Engineered to evolve.”

Most flight cases end up in a skip when a tour finishes or gear changes. Ours go back into production. Trade in your old case and we will recycle the aircraft-grade aluminium to build your next custom rig.”

“Built for the Road, Backed by a Reset Button”

Let’s be real: touring is brutal. Luggage handlers, bumpy vans, and constant loading will take a toll on any gear. If an aluminium case takes a catastrophic hit, it might ding or bend—but unlike plastic, it won’t shatter into pieces, leaving your instruments exposed.

Even better? If your case eventually loses its shape after years of heavy touring, its life isn’t over. Because it’s high-grade aluminium, you can trade it in. We don’t care how many dents, scratches, or tour stickers it has, it still has potential, be it as a new to you or gifted to someone new, or  it’s melted down and forged into something new.

Our dedicated team are on hand to guide you through the process contact us on sales@scottdixoninc.com
